Fusing hard with soft
There are considerable differences in the hardness of water around the world, partially due to the composition of the bedrock. The hardness is determined by the volume of minerals, calcium and magnesium above all.
There is no evidence indicating that it is harmful to drink harder water, however, hard water causes formation of lime deposits in kettles, dishwashers and washing machines, for example. But there is a simple solution. Add salt, and the water becomes softer.
Hard water causes major problems through the formation of deposits in pipes and household appliances. Salt (NaCl) is used to convert the hard ions in the water (calcium and magnesium) into softer ions, sodium. We use vacuum salt in our products. This is the purest form of salt, and leaves no deposits or residues.
Compact salt is an extra coarse (2-8 mm) pressed salt used in regeneration filters for water softening purposes. Delivered in bag (20 kg).
A vacuum salt with spherical grains, 1 to 4 mm in size. Granular salt is of high purity and is used primarily for water softening, brine preparation and treatment of hides and skins. Delivered in big bag (1000 kg) and small bag (25 kg).
Salt tablets are used in soft water filters for the regeneration of the filter mass responsible for changing calcium and magnesium ions to sodium ions. Salt tablets are made of vacuum salt, ensuring purity and thus minimizing malfunction of the soft water filter. Delivered in big bag (1000 kg) and small bag (15 and 25 kg).
A coarse (0.8 - 3.2 mm) rock salt for use in e.g. water softening. Delivered in big bag (1000 kg) and small bag (25 kg).
A fine grained, highly refined salt with cubic crystal form. Vacuum salt is produced by dissolving brine into a saturated saline solution which, after sedimentation and filtration, is recrystallized under vacuum. Delivered in big bag (1000 kg) and small bag (25 kg).
Buffers and products affecting pH balance
Sodium carbonate, also known as soda ash, is the water-soluble sodium salt of carbonic acid. It is a white, odorless, granulated powder that is hygroscopic. The quality is heavy and has a bulk density of 0.95 - 1.05 kg / dm3. Delivered in bulk.
